Emperor Baldar bet Axa

(Deceased) former emperor of Thummam

In 37, Thummam was invaded by King Alard of Genest. Baldar waged war against the invader, but the foreign king’s army was too zealous. Though the invaders failed to capture the Holy City of Arihalla, defeat was imminent.

Baldar struck a peace treaty with Alard in the year 40. Baldar retained control of Arihalla, but he allowed pilgrims from the west to visit the city.

Baldar died of the Arettine Plague in 41, leaving his heirs to squabble over the realm.

He was eventually succeeded by his second daughter Rihan, Black Jewel of Akhet.
